2021 Payment and Cancellation Terms

Payment Deadlines

  • Program fees must be paid 14 days before the first class.

  • Health Forms should be submitted electronically and are required 14 days before initial class meeting. If registering less than 14 days before program, the Health Form is required at registration. Late paperwork will be assessed a $25 penalty.

Cancellation & Refunds

  • Our cancellation policy will be strictly enforced for registrations received for 2021-22 programs and applies to all cancellations including Covid related ones. By registering, families acknowledge that there are Coronavirus related risks.

    • Refunds will not exceed the amount of money paid. 

    • The application/registration deposit is non-refundable, including for cancellations related to Covid exposure or quarantine.

  • For all cancellations received up to 30 days before the first class, 50% of the money paid will be refunded, minus bank and processing fees.

  • For all cancellations received up to 29-14 days before the first class, 25% of the money paid will be refunded, minus bank and processing fees.

  • No refunds will be given for cancellations received less than fourteen days before the scheduled program unless the student transfers to a different program that has availability.

  • Refunds and make-up classes are not available for missed classes, including for cancellations related to Covid exposure or quarantine.

  • In the event of a STEAM closure, classes will be rescheduled.

  • If programs are canceled due to a Stay At Home Order:

    • Students have the option to transfer to a later program.

    • If the student chooses not to transfer, the non-refundable deposit is retained by STEAM DA and the remaining 50% will be put on credit to a later program and 50% refunded, after bank and processing fees.
