Doodlematic: 2021 Newsweek Best in STEM Award Winner, this mobile game maker allows students to create their own games while coding with color. A favorite of all ages since we introduced it two years ago, it’s a great example of STEAM! Bonus – created by an educator, it’s a small business!
Force 1 Hands-Free Drone: A great introduction to drones, this is easy to fly, uses infrared sensors to detect obstacles and is always a hit! Our students never tire of playing with them!
Make.do Discover Kit: Also a 2021 Newsweek Best in STEM Award winner, this kit allows you to transform cardboard into amazing creations. These kid-safe tools are great for kids and adults!
UFO 3000 Drone: A great starter drone, these are easy to fly, this drone is sturdy enough to hold up to beginners, while agile enough to entertain experienced pilots.
Sphero Robots: We discovered Sphero a few years ago on Kickstarter and they’ve become a mainstay of our programming!
The Sphero Spark (and now Bolt) are one of our most requested toys. Durable, waterproof (seriously!), and easy to drive, they also introduce students to coding.
The Sphero RVR is a step up for students interested in coding and building, this departure from the traditional ball design is a great addition to the Sphero line up.
Plus-Plus: If you have a builder who loves to construct, this building product is a great alternative to Lego. The small ++ design allows students to build 2D and 3D. They are durable, easy to clean, and versatile. Plus-Plus tubes make a great stocking stuffer!
Lego: How can we not include this classic, particularly with so many new space sets! We are currently coveting the ISS build and the Mars Lander, but you can’t go wrong with Lego!
