Richmond 2026 Summer Cancellation Policy
The STEAM Discovery Academy Cancellation Policy is strictly enforced and consistently followed in fairness to all participants. The team is unable to accommodate requests for exemptions.
The Summer Cancellation Policy applies to all cancellations including those due to illness, quarantine, or travel delay. Students deemed contagious by a physician will be offered an alternate date option, as available.

Registrations are a commitment to the program. Tuition is not prorated, missed workshops and days are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The application deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Refunds will not exceed the amount of money paid to STEAM for the specific registration.

Percentages are calculated based on total tuition due, excluding non-refundable deposit(s), and percentage due.

March 4, 2026: For all cancellations received by 3/4/2026 at 12:01A -

50% of money paid will be refunded, minus the enrollment deposit, bank and processing fees, and 25% of money paid, minus the application fee, will be credited towards a future program. Credit must be used by 12/31/2026.

25% of money paid will be refunded, minus enrollment deposit, bank and processing fees,

May 1, 2026 to 21 Days Before STEAM Week at the Location: 25% credit of monies paid, minus the application fee, will be credited towards a future program. Credit must be used by 12/31/2026.

No refunds will be given for cancellations received less than 21 days before the first program start date.
TRANSFERRING PROGRAMS:
STEAM will accommodate one (1) course (week/program) change per student based on course availability until April 1st, 2026. Changes initiated by families will be assessed a $50 change fee.
